Schlüter-Systems Ltd, the UK market leader in tiling systems, is renowned for its innovative range of over 10,000 products, including underfloor heating, wet room systems, uncoupling mats, and profiles. To strengthen its connection with tilers across the UK, Schlüter-Systems envisioned a community-driven platform that would serve as a hub for communication, education and engagement.
Schlüter-Systems wanted to build a dynamic platform that would foster a sense of community among tilers while providing valuable resources and opportunities. The “Schlüter and Ü” campaign required the creation of a microsite to serve as the cornerstone of their marketing strategy. They aimed to attract users by offering incentives such as free gifts upon joining, expert industry tips and regular workshops. In addition to boosting community engagement, the platform needed to help Schlüter gather customer information to better understand their audience and build stronger direct relationships.
The platform also had to act as a space where Schlüter could connect directly with tilers, showcase their extensive product range and offer educational resources. To bring Schlüter & Ü to life, we built a fully bespoke platform using WordPress. This approach offered the flexibility and scalability needed to meet Schlüter’s goals while delivering a user-friendly experience for tilers. The design reflected Schlüter’s brand identity with clean professional visuals and intuitive navigation.
The microsite served as the centrepiece of the “Schlüter and Ü” campaign, offering a seamless registration process that included a welcome pack with a free branded t-shirt. The site provided educational resources like free training sessions and expert advice to empower tilers with industry knowledge. It also featured engaging elements such as competitions and giveaways to foster loyalty and keep users actively involved. By collecting customer information, the platform gave Schlüter actionable insights to better understand their audience and tailor their marketing strategies.
To support the campaign, we created strategic collateral and executed targeted marketing efforts. These initiatives were designed to drive traffic to the microsite and encourage engagement from both new and existing tilers.
