With over 25 years of experience, Amber Windows has established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of home improvement products and services in the UK. Known for their family-run approach, Amber prides itself on delivering value for money and high-quality installations across both new builds and existing homes. Our task was to help Amber refresh their brand presence and grow their digital footprint to remain competitive in an increasingly crowded market.
Amber Windows faced growing competition from local window manufacturers and sought to reinvigorate their brand to appeal to a broader demographic. While Amber’s products were well-regarded, the brand had received some negative feedback regarding its image, which impacted customer perception. Our challenge was to shift these perceptions by creating a fresh, engaging marketing platform that would restore confidence in the Amber name.
The goal was to develop a coherent and innovative brand identity across multiple communication channels. This involved building a new website that reflected Amber’s values, improving their digital presence and creating a customer experience that aligned with their commitment to quality. In addition, Amber lacked a strong strapline or visual signature to reinforce their offering and brand essence, which required us to craft a distinct and relatable identity that customers could connect with.
Beyond design, Amber required a robust SEO strategy to organically grow their online presence without relying heavily on PPC (Pay Per Click). They also needed to improve engagement across social media platforms, shifting from hard sales tactics to a more customer-centric and approachable tone.
We approached the project with a comprehensive brand refresh that retained the integrity of Amber’s existing logo but introduced a new, forward-thinking digital experience. A key component was the creation of a handwritten-style script reading ‘Love your home,’ which added a sense of warmth and personality to the brand.
The website underwent a complete redesign to showcase Amber’s products and services more effectively. This involved crafting engaging, customer-focused copy and curating a refined colour palette that complemented lifestyle imagery. The result was a visually appealing and informative platform that resonated with new and existing audiences alike.
To ensure long-term success, we developed a three-stage SEO plan designed to optimise organic growth over time. The process began with an initial website audit, setup, and benchmarking report to compare the capabilities of the old site to the new platform. Through keyword analytics and ongoing growth programs, we increased organic sessions from just 19 per week to nearly 900.
Localised SEO strategies allowed us to target specific demographics and broaden Amber’s customer base, ensuring the brand reached key markets more effectively. This granular approach maximised visibility in local search results, driving higher engagement and sales.
Social media also played a critical role in Amber’s rebranding journey. By adopting a friendly and reassuring tone, we were able to foster greater engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. This approach enabled us to measure interactions, analyse customer feedback, and fine-tune Amber’s digital marketing strategies, ultimately driving stronger brand awareness and trust.
The rebrand and digital transformation significantly enhanced Amber Windows’ online presence and reputation. The new website not only reinforced Amber’s standing as a trusted home improvement provider but also generated substantial growth in organic traffic and lead generation.
Through carefully planned SEO strategies, we achieved a significant increase in web traffic, demonstrating the power of a tailored and sustainable digital growth plan. Social media engagement soared, allowing Amber to connect with customers in a more authentic and relatable way.
